While I've done several Rey Dau videos with the Insect Glaive on this channel now, each featuring a different variation of the monster, I never seem to get bored of hunting it, and I always feel as though I have another video up my sleeve. This Tempered ★9 version here feels much closer the the Rey Dau from the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta back at the end of 2024, which incidentally happens to be the subject (at the time of publishing) of my most viewed video. This hunt did not go the way I planned it. There were definitely a few mishaps. But the overall hunt ended up being so much fun! So I'm glad that I was able to record this and present it to you.
