#isleofsheppey #bluetown #sheerness #riverthames Isle of Sheepey, an island at north of Kent, has a long history of ship building and battles at sea. In Blue Town there is the Criterion in which there are music hall, tea room, cinema and maritime museum. We had a fantastic afternoon there, through visiting the museum and watching a marvellous variety show. There are exhibits on Admiral Lord Nelson's cabin in HMS Victory, the dangerous wrecks in the waterway, the naval industry and the commercial cross-channel service in the old days. The Criterion is well worth a visit, where one can learn the town's wonderful past and enjoy one's time in the music hall while having tea and watching the different performances. The nearby town Sheerness on Sea is a place to enjoy the beauty of the estuary of river Thames. Hope you enjoy the video.
