In this video I am checking out the new problem solving piece of gear from Morley, the Humno! If you've ever decided to plug into two amps at once with a Stereo pedal or an ABY box, or you've played a venue with very bad power, you may have experienced ground hum. This is a loud, low pitched rumble that can consume your guitar sound. Morley have had a product in the US for years called Hum X and the Hum Eliminator, which both resolve this issue, but now this product is available in the EU market in a new form. The Humno is a simple IEC style cable extender. One end plugs into the back of your amp and the other end connects to your existing IEC cable. The Humno filters out current and provides you with clean power that still has the ground intact. This is NOT a ground lift. It can also be used for studio equipment or anything else that runs off IEC power.
