EMTV:Rewind - Monarchs v Bradford - Premier League - April 1995

When we joined the new all-in Premier League in 1995, this brought the prospect of a steady stream of World Class riders coming to Powderhall. Our first match in the new league was at Powderhall on 7th April against Bradford whose star men were 1992 World Champion Gary Havelock, and the brilliant young English star Joe Screen. On our side we had new signing American Mike Faria, plus guest rider Ben Howe who was one of the most thrilling Powderhall visitors.
