Toshiba lifts in Hong Kong

Location: Ying Fook House, Ying Tung Estate, Tung Chung, Lantau, New Territories These were the first PHB style lifts I managed to ride and film, and though they may not be anything very special, these were actually pretty nice in my opinion. It has also got me wondering - why does Chevalier give HDB blocks back in Singapore crappy (or mediocre at best) IFEs, yet they install these nice high speed Toshibas in PHB blocks across Hong Kong which are far better than the IFEs we have? The ride and build quality is much better than IFEs of similar age, and although their speed was on the slow side for 38 floors, they somewhat made up for it by having relatively quick acceleration, as well as short leveling times.
