PowerSurge Wednesday - Part 2 | 2 Timothy 2:23-26 (NLT)

Hello Promise talking Faith Walkers! Welcome to PowerSurge where we are locking into the Power of God's Word and learning how to Live Promise Filled Lives! We are continuing our focus on 2 Timothy 2:23-26 (NLT) 23 Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. 24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. 25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. Thoughts to Ponder: 1. Because I am in Christ Jesus, I no longer engage in arguments with others; that will only start fights. 2. I choose to remain humble. My humility will open the door for me to give a reason for why I believe what I believe. 3. God is the One who changes the hearts of unbelievers; I am just a vessel made available to be used by Him. Support Scriptures: 2 Timothy 2:14-16 (GW); 1 Timothy 3-5 (NKJV); Titus 3:8-11 (MSG); Philippians 2:3-4 (NKJV) ; Colossians 3:13-14 (AMPC); James 1:19-20 (AMPC); Titus 1:7-9 (MSG); 1 Timothy 2:1-7 (MSG) Confession: I don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. As a servant of the Lord, I don’t quarrel, but I am kind to everyone, I am able to teach and I am patient with difficult people. I gently instruct those who oppose the Truth because there’s a chance God will change their hearts and they will learn the Truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s traps that keeps them in captivity doing what he wants them to do. Book: eBook: https://www.amazon.com/Meditating-Pro...
