Slow Christmas Jazz Ballads by the Fire | Smooth Jazz & Strings Over a Snowy City Park

Slow Christmas jazz ballads and smooth lounge jazz with a soft string section, played easy and unhurried in the parlour of an old city brownstone on Christmas night: a fire in the carved white marble fireplace, a tree in red and gold beside a cognac leather sofa, two glasses of red wine by a candle, and a black grand piano resting in the corner. Through the tall windows, snow falls over a city park strung with warm lights and the skyline beyond. Piano trio swing on brushes and walking bass, mellow sax on a few tunes and the gentle sound of the fire underneath - three hours of instrumental Christmas jazz to relax, read or unwind through a quiet evening at home. Every tune is instrumental and unhurried - no voices, only piano, upright bass, brushes, soft strings and the low warmth of the fire - so it sits easily in the background while the city goes quiet under the snow.
