9 Home Security Tricks Every Senior Living Alone MUST Know

A burglar decides whether your house is worth the trouble in under a minute, and he makes that call from the sidewalk. I spent twenty years in the Marine Corps, and the years since walking properties for folks on my street who live by themselves. In this video I go through the nine things I check first. You will learn why the shrubs under your window are the first thing he looks for, the five dollar box of hardware that fixes the weakest part of almost every front door, the trick with two coats and a pair of work boots that costs nothing, and the one arrangement that does more for somebody living alone than any camera ever will. Most of these cost pocket change. Not one of them asks you to confront anybody. Tell me in the comments which one you are doing first. The one with the most comments gets its own full video next. #homesecurity #homedefense #seniorsafety #livingalone #burglaryprevention #preparedness #veteran
