On this early morning ride from Bormio, we ascended the legendary Stelvio Pass at a leisurely pace. Often hailed as one of the greatest driving roads in the world, Stelvio is a must-ride for any motorcyclist. The Stelvio Pass (Passo dello Stelvio) in the Italian Alps is famous for its hairpin bends. On the north side (Prato allo Stelvio side) there are 48 numbered hairpin bends. This video covers the south side (Bormio side) here we approached 34 hairpin bends, so in total, the Stelvio Pass has around 82 hairpin bends. With its iconic hairpin turns and breathtaking alpine views, each twist in the road brought us higher, revealing vistas that stretch for miles.
