Freeze dried onions for ONION POWDER

We bought 50 LBS of Onions from a market just north of us. They had 50 pounds for $20. We normally buy a large bag and freeze them so we can use them all year long, NOW that we have a freeze dryer this will be changing. I put 2 gallon sized bags in the deep freezer as well and we still have about 1/3 of the bag left. I wanted to do some onion powder and also freeze dried onion in mylar bags or jars for our soup, breakfast and dinners.
