영국 출신의 포크 가수 캣 스티븐스(Cat Stevens)가 1971년에 발표한 곡으로 빌보드 핫 100의 6위까지 올랐던 곡입니다. 원래는 스코틀랜드 민요였는데, 1931년 영국의 시인이자 아동문학가 엘리너 파전 (Eleanor Farjeon)이 썼고, 어린이들의 예배나 장례식(?) 예배에서 자주 불렸다고 합니다. 내용은 신께서 만드신 아름다운 세상을 찬양한다는 내용입니다. It was released in 1971 by British folk singer Cat Stevens and ranked as high as 6th on the Billboard Hot 100. Originally a Scottish folk song, it was written by English poet and children's writer Eleanor Farjeon in 1931, and was often sung at children's services and funeral services.
