🚨 *WALIKALE COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES BACK KABILA’S FRN, DEMAND SECURITY AND MINING ACCOUNTABILITY* Representatives of communities from **Walikale, North Kivu**, have declared support for Joseph Kabila’s **Front pour la Refondation de la Nation (FRN)**, calling for security, justice and development in their territory. In this video, Rwanda Updates presents their declaration in **Kinyarwanda**. The signatories raise concerns about armed groups, particularly the **FDLR**, deteriorating infrastructure and mining wealth they say has failed to improve local living conditions. Their statement also alleges discrimination against Swahili-speaking Congolese, arbitrary arrests of military officers and unequal access to leadership positions. The representatives say their support for the FRN must produce measurable results: effective protection of civilians, transparent management of mineral resources, fair distribution of mining revenues and respect for every community.
