Audi a4/vw passat Tiptronic Repair

Please like and subscribe to my channel to bring more how-to videos! Hello, in this video I show you how I fix my 1999 Audi a4 2.8 quattro tiptronic. When I bought the car a few months ago I noticed that when I put the shifter into tiptronic mode, it would not activate the tiptronic. This I found out was because my car was missing a magnet, and therefore would not recognize that I was shifting it into tiptronic. This should work with VW Passats's between the years of 1997-2001 with tiptronic as well as other Audi's with tiptronic. Please comment with any questions.
