The core ethical values are generally shared within the global community, and they are a reflection of the human and spiritual approach to the nursing profession. Nursing values are fundamental to the practice of nursing. They guide standards for action, provide a framework for evaluating behavior and influence practice decisions. They represent what is deemed worthy or valuable and guide choices and actions. Beliefs: Definition: Beliefs are specific convictions or acceptances that something is true or exists. Relationship between Values and Beliefs: Values and beliefs are interconnected, with values serving as overarching principles that guide the formation of specific beliefs.
