ISRAEL - Park Timna. פארק תמנע

Located some 30 km north of Eilat (in southern Israel) is the large Timna Park. So much to see and do here that when buying your entrance ticket at the visitor center, you are told that it's good for a whole week. Surrounded by colorful sandstone mountains with strange looking natural rock formations, this valley was once a large copper mine used by the ancient Egyptians.
