Doom Sigil 2 M4 Fragments of Sanity

I think this level may be cursed. I started early yesterday evening until RL unpleasantly interrupted me and I had to quit mid-level with no saves for the previous level, so my choices were to continue where I left off, do a pistol restart, or restart the expansion. I chose the first option, and almost as soon as I started a friend started texting me about his computer refusing to turn on or even run the fans. And that's not to mention how those darn platforms that most of the video takes place near got stuck in a non-crossable configuration. I actually looked the level up to see if there's another way out and considered using a cheat when I found there wasn't. Fortunately I accidentally found a spot where I could survive being crushed by the ceiling (whereas most of it was guaranteed death), so I was ultimately able to take the damage and cross the crushers, but the video took a lot of editing to remove extended pause times and merge the three recordings into one. I also sped up that whole section quite a lot as a good amount of time was spent watching the crushers to see if they would re-align themselves over time, but that doesn't seem to be the case. All in all, this is one of those levels that keeps me humble...and makes me want to re-record it so I look like a better player, but that's not fair so I'm going to leave this one up. There are lots of videos that show the best way to finish levels by people who use a walkthrough or memorize the level and so forth, whereas I'm attempting to relay actual gameplay complete with failures and embarrassing moments of falling for traps or getting completely confused. --- No-commentary playthrough of Doom Sigil 2 on Ultraviolent. I've never played it before, and to be honest after playing the first Sigil level pack and watching the demos for this one, I don't really want to. But there we are. This is probably about the limit of my ability, to be honest. It's the first time in Doom 1, 2 or Final, that I've had to give up completely on killing all the enemies because there just isn't enough ammo or healing to do so safely at my skill level.
