Is Byron Bay really worth the hype? 🌴🤔 We headed to the beautiful Byron Bay in NSW, staying at *Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay* with our caravan and two little boys. With beaches, playgrounds, a swimming pool and plenty of family-friendly activities, this holiday park looked fantastic on paper… but did it live up to our expectations? Well, not quite! 😬 In this video, we're giving you our honest review of Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay, exploring the local area and sharing what it's really like visiting Byron Bay with young kids. While the park has plenty of great facilities, we found our caravan site quite small, sandy and dusty. Add in the cost of exploring Byron Bay, and this destination ended up towards the bottom of our list of places we've stayed so far. But it wasn't all disappointing! We still found some fantastic and affordable places to explore as a family. 🏕️ *INGENIA HOLIDAYS BYRON BAY — PARK FEATURES* Located near Tallow Beach, just a short drive from Byron Bay town centre, the park offers: 🏊 Saltwater swimming pool with a toddler section 🛝 Children's playground and jumping pad 🏀 Basketball and volleyball facilities 🍳 Camp kitchen and BBQ facilities 🚿 Amenities, showers and laundry facilities 🚐 Powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites 🏡 Cabins and glamping accommodation 🐶 Pet-friendly accommodation options and dog agility park 🏖️ Access to Tallow Beach 🚲 Bike hire and nearby cycling paths ☕ On-site café and bar 🔥 Fire pit facilities (subject to park conditions) 🚗 EV charging, dump point and Wi-Fi We share our experience of the caravan sites, facilities and whether we think this park is worth considering for families travelling with young children. 🌴 *THINGS TO DO IN BYRON BAY WITH KIDS* We explored some of the beautiful local attractions and businesses, including: 🐓 *The Farm Byron Bay* A working farm where families can see farm animals, explore the grounds and enjoy some delicious local food. A fantastic place to visit with little ones! 🍺 *Stone & Wood Brewery* We all had lunch here then Jake stayed for a tasting which he is still talking about. 🍦 *Pink Gelato* Because no family holiday is complete without an ice cream stop! We checked out Pink Gelato while exploring Byron Bay and would definitely recommend 🌊 *Byron Bay Beaches* We explored the beautiful coastline, enjoyed the ocean views and soaked up some of Byron Bay's famous beach atmosphere. 🏖️ *Cape Byron Lighthouse* One of the area's most iconic landmarks, with incredible coastal scenery. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 *WHO ARE WE? — THAT AUSSIE TRAVEL FAMILY* G'day!
