Industrial Rose: Not So Berry Apartment 🌹 | The Sims 4: Speedbuild

An industrial apartment in the heart of San Myshuno's Art's Quarter, for the Rose generation of the Not So Berry Legacy challenge, made by lilsimsie and AlwaySimming. This apartment costs $51,554, and features a primary bedroom for the Rose Gen sim, and a kids bedroom for the Yellow Gen sim. It has a modern bathroom, a gorgeous lofted kitchen and island, a large living space with an enormous TV, and a dining room with a breathtaking view of the city. I took some inspiration from an industrial apartment build that lilsimsie made a few years ago (I'll link it below). I've just started the Rose Gen (after finishing the Mint Gen for the 50th time lmao)! I was in a bit of a Not So Berry slump because I hadn't played for a couple of weeks and to then come back to a 7 sim household was... a lot... I didn't want to age the heir up early, so I came up with a storyline so that I could move my Rose Gen teen out and not have to deal with the rest of the family 😅 Since Apple (my Rose Gen heir) is very artsy, the storyline is that she got accepted into this prestigious art school in the city and her parents bought her this apartment so that she could attend the school (since their family home is so far away). This art school is then a pathway towards a scholarship to study Art at University BUT a series of difficult life events will encourage her to use her social media presence as an artist for activism. The school aren't happy with her being so outspoken, so they kick her off the program. This will then inspire her to pursue a career in Politics so that she can further use her voice to enact change. I have uploaded two seperate complimenary rooms for this build to the gallery (to replace the child's bedroom). The first is a red art studio for Apple, and the second is a Yellow nursery for her now infant daughter, Bea. You can download the build on my gallery (itsneighbourdan). If you do, then it's important to note that the plant is slightly blocking the toilet, which meant that my sim couldn't use it. Move the sink and plant slightly to the right so that it's almost touching the wall by the door, and this should fix it for you too! The pet bed under the desk is also unusable, so if you drag it out so that it is half under half out, then pets should be able to use it. I also had to remove the platforms to upload to the gallery. The kitchen is meant to be raised up twice and then I used the Get to Work stairs so that Sims could get up to that level, and the dining area is to be raised up once (no stairs needed for that room).
