Spent a fabulous day at RAF Fairford on 25 September 2026 under glorious sunshine, capturing all the action from the B-1B Lancer training schedule! ☀️ Morning saw the pair of Rockwell B-1B Lancers launch out on their training sorties, followed shortly by the departure of an Atlas Boeing 767 heading back to the USA — transporting the latest crew rotation personnel home. 🇺🇸✈️ The afternoon brought even more excitement: one of the two B-1Bs aborted its takeoff run right on the runway! After a period of on-site troubleshooting, the crew resolved the issue and successfully got airborne shortly after — a fascinating look at real operational procedures and decision-making. 🔧🚀 Both aircraft later returned safely to complete their missions.
