Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, observed the 4TH Awukudae Festival of the year at Manhyia Palace

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, observed the fourth Awukudae Festival of the year at the Manhyia Palace on May 20, 2026. Traditional authorities, faith-based organisations, members of the business community, and other well-wishers used the occasion to honour Otumfuo, while also acknowledging his 27th anniversary on the Golden Stool and his 76th birthday. Among them were the Benkum Division, the Kontire Division, the Barekesehene, the Abirahene, the Zongo Nkosuohene, St. Anne’s Anglican Cathedral, and the Opoku Ware Old Boys’ Association. Others who joined to pay homage were graphic designer Kwaku Adu Gyamfi Opoku and Holland TV.
