Smother Fried Chicken One of my George’s favorite meals consisted of fried chicken ,biscuits and chicken gravy. He liked to come in from a very cold day of hunting and find me in a good smelling kitchen of fried chicken. I would always have on a pot of good hot coffee and pour him a big cup. I remember the hug so well. His coat would always feel cold and his hands were cold against my face as he gave me my (l’m back home kiss).
