Samual: The God Who Knows- Oct 11th, 2026

Here we have a woman who has just experienced a miracle and is compelled to worship. She was rejected and oppressed, but God gave her victory. Her declaration adds color to our view of the living God. In many ways Hannah proclaims that He knows the plight of the marginalized, hears their prayer, and will overturn the normal order of things. Then we get a second example of this truth as her son is now sitting under spiritual leadership that is corrupt. God again flips the hierarchy and establishes Samuel as a prophet with authority. The question for us is not whether God sees or hears, it is if we will listen to His voice and believe that He is for us.
