Positioned between the Val Gardena valley to the south and the Val di Funes valley to the north, Resciesa is primarily located within the municipal area of Ortisei. The entire region, including the forests below Resciesa, falls under the protective umbrella of the Puez-Odle Nature Park. On Resciesa's high alp, you will encounter the Holy Cross Chapel, Resciesa Mountain Hut, Cason Hut, a stone construction by Val di Funes artist Livio Comploi, and the mountain station of the cable car.
