Our Filipina Neighbor Gave Us a Big Fresh Fish | Harvesting Calamansi & Cooking It Filipino Style

We are a Korean family living in the Philippine province, enjoying the beauty of Filipino countryside life. Today, our Filipina neighbor stopped by with a big fresh fish and asked if she could have some calamansi. We happily harvested fresh calamansi from our garden and gave her some mangoes before she headed home. Afterward, we cooked the fish Filipino style and enjoyed another simple homemade meal together. Life in the countryside is filled with small acts of kindness, fresh harvests, and neighbors helping one another.
