The Nagoya Subway N1000 Series (名古屋市交通局N1000形) is the newer of the two type of rolling stock to operate on the Nagoya Subway Higashiyama Line in the 2020s. Introduced in 2008, they were built by Nippon Sharyo and were fitted with Mitsubishi IGBT-VVVF traction control system. The early units used LED passenger information displays, while the later units such as this one used LCD passenger displays.
