From East Pakistan to Arunachal Pradesh — a journey of displacement and belonging. In 1964, at just 26 years of age, he arrived from then East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh) as a young refugee. The Government of India relocated his family to the Hollongi–Kokila Chakma Settlement Village, where he has lived ever since.
