Marrying into a Malayali household didn't just change my family it completely changed the way I cook. 🇵🇰🇮🇳 Spices I'd never touched, herbs used in ways I didn't grow up with, even something as simple as a dry red chili used completely differently than back home — today I'm making Tamil-style Ambur biryani for the first time, and sharing everything I've learned about flavor, spice, and kitchen culture since getting married.
This one's part cooking, part real talk about how much a kitchen can teach you about a whole new culture.
