In 2005, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith wasn’t just a movie. It was an EVENT. In this video, I react to old news clips from 2005 showing the insane excitement surrounding the release of Revenge of the Sith....fans lining up, camping out, talking about Star Wars, and finally getting to see the conclusion of the prequel trilogy. And watching these clips brought me RIGHT back. I was around 9 years old when Revenge of the Sith came out, and Star Wars was everything to me. I remember going straight to Burger King after seeing the movie because I HAD to get the Revenge of the Sith Happy Meal toys. I played the games, collected the toys, watched the movies constantly… I was completely obsessed. Seeing the excitement from 2005 hits differently now. This was before Disney Star Wars, before the sequel trilogy, before streaming took over everything. George Lucas was still at the helm, and for a kid who grew up loving Star Wars, this really felt like the end of an era.
