Tiny Story by Marilyn J. Simons. Crankie by Ann Putnam.
December 2020.
Firelight Theatre Workshop invited authors to pen 100 words or less for their third installment of their Tiny Stories Project, on the subject Liminality/Liminal Space, thinking about liminal space as a space in between, or a state of transition.
Visual, writing, mixed-media, and multidisciplinary artists were then invited to choose one of the Tiny Story submissions and create an art piece that in some way, small or large scale, is sparked by that story choice.
We are all living in the pandemic liminal space, the time between the ‘what was’ and the ‘next.’ It is a place of transition, a season of waiting, and not knowing.
— Linda Claff, Firelight Member
In 2017, theatre artists Nora Fiffer and Jason Lambert founded Firelight Theatre Workshop in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
