Ashwood Blues Lounge — He Bought a Dead Man's Barber Chair in '34 | Old School Delta Blues

OLD SCHOOL DELTA BLUES FOR YOUR LATE NIGHTS, WHISKEY & QUIET HOURS 🥃🎸 Pour a glass, dim the lights, and let the quiet settle in. Over an hour of warm, storytelling Delta blues — gritty weathered vocals, slide guitar and lonesome harmonica, sung for the barber who bought a dead man's chair in 1934 and cut hair on a Mississippi square for forty years — perfect for late night reflection, reading, relaxing, or a slow glass of bourbon. 🔔 Subscribe for new Old School Delta Blues every day:    / @ashwoodblueslounge   ▼ TRACKLIST 00:00 Bought the Chair Off a Dead Man 03:50 Learned It on My Own Brothers 06:41 Fifteen Cents and a Hot Towel 10:19 Only Colored Business on the Square 14:12 Every Man on This Road Sat Down 17:44 The First Haircut and the Last One 21:49 Saturday It Run Till Midnight 24:57 Heard It All and Never Told 28:19 The Preacher and the Bootlegger Same Bench 31:42 Cut a Man's Hair Before He Went to Trial 35:55 Cut Him Again When He Come Home 39:29 Numbers Went Out the Back Door 42:43 Sheriff Got His Cut in That Chair 46:07 Loaned More Money Than the Bank 49:47 Shaved the Dead for the Burial Society 54:16 The Razor My Daddy Never Owned 58:19 Boy Wanted to Go to Chicago 1:01:55 Learned Him Anyway 1:05:54 Shop Closed in Seventy-Four 1:09:43 Chair's on My Front Porch 🎧 Best for: late night reflection, reading, unwinding, whiskey & quiet. 🎵 Follow on Spotify — full albums, and new releases first: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4axSL... — Music created with AI, curated, arranged and edited with human direction by Ashwood Blues Lounge. #deltablues #bluesmusic #latenightblues #whiskeyblues #slideguitar #oldschoolblues
