Marantau: Jeffrey Wandly, Jakarta, 2026

MARANTAU: A journey of heritage, history and culture Hadiprana Gallery and Maya Gallery are delighted to co-present Marantau - A journey of heritage, history and culture, Jeffrey Wandly’s solo debut in Indonesia. Marantau is a journey through the urban landscapes of Singapore and Jakarta to capture the familial, historical and cultural connections that flow between Singapore and Indonesia. A crucial component of the exhibition is a personal prologue, a tribute to his artistic heritage through Minangkabau architecture, portraiture and music. In conjunction with the exhibition, a free public sharing session will feature Jeffrey Wandly on his artistic journey in conversation with curator Vanessa Yeo. Join us for this celebration of the beauty and energy of cultures that form from journeys in the expanded world. 26 September – 10 October 2026 Hadiprana Gallery, Jakarta, Indonesia Curated by Vanessa Yeo Co-presented by Hadiprana Gallery x Maya Gallery https://bit.ly/marantau
