30 Years of Third World Network-Africa: Championing Africa’s Voice

Since 1994, Third World Network-Africa (TWN-Africa) has fought for economic justice, sovereignty, and equitable development across Africa. Born out of resistance to neoliberal globalisation and structural adjustment, TWN-Africa became a leading Pan-African voice on trade, mining, and gender. It convened the Africa Trade Network, helped shape the Africa Mining Vision, supported mining communities, and championed women’s rights, including the founding of NETRIGHT in Ghana.
