St. John's prep overcame a 14 point deficit in the fourth quarter Friday night against a very tough Springfield Central team to pull out a victory in what many believe might be a preview of a postseason matchup between two perennial powers in Massachusetts. The story going into this game was the matchup between four star quarterback Jareth Staine and five star quarterback Chris Vargas but it was the running backs that stole the show. Isaiah Rogers for the Golden Eagles amassed three touchdowns while Jordan Toribio and Maxwell Parent combined for over 300 yards on the ground for the Eagles.
