STORYA MI NUNTAN (CSW Originals)

🎵 STORYA MI NUNTAN | Original Song by Cordillera Sound Waves A SONG FOR THE FARMERS OF THE CORDILLERA — THEIR SACRIFICE, THEIR STRUGGLE, THEIR STORY. 🌿⛰️ Behind every vegetable that reaches the Baguio Public Market is a story of hardship, sacrifice, and unwavering determination. “STORYA MI NUNTAN” is an original song by Cordillera Sound Waves, inspired by the real-life struggles of farmers in the Cordillera Mountains, where the lack of farm-to-market roads continues to make life difficult for many farming communities. While others are still sleeping, these hardworking farmers are already awake by 4:00 AM, preparing to carry their heavy loads of freshly harvested vegetables on their backs. They walk along steep, muddy, and dangerous mountain trails, navigating through the darkness of the early morning, driven by one purpose: to bring their harvest to the Baguio Public Market and earn a living for their families. Every step they take carries not only the weight of their vegetables, but also the weight of their responsibilities, sacrifices, hopes, and dreams. Their journey is more than a walk through the mountains. It is a daily battle against difficult terrain, limited access to transportation, and the challenges of bringing their produce to market. Despite these hardships, Cordillera farmers continue to stand strong, working tirelessly to feed their families and help put food on our tables. This song is their voice. This song is their story. This song is for every farmer whose struggles often go unseen and unheard. Through STORYA MI NUNTAN, Cordillera Sound Waves hopes to raise awareness of the need for better farm-to-market roads and improved access for farming communities throughout the Cordillera. Our farmers deserve not only recognition for their hard work, but also the infrastructure and support they need to make their lives safer and better. 🙏 To all the farmers of the Cordillera: your sacrifices matter, your stories deserve to be heard, and your hard work will never be forgotten. 🎶 SONG CREDITS Title: STORYA MI NUNTAN Artist / Music Arrangement: Cordillera Sound Waves Type: Original Song Theme: The struggles, sacrifices, and resilience of Cordillera farmers Copyright: © 2026 Cordillera Sound Waves (CSW).
