Lost Her Job, Lost Her Home — A 28-Year-Old Woman Starts Over Alone

After 10 years of living and working in the city, I never imagined that one day I would have to return to my hometown with almost nothing. My name is Thanh, and I am 28 years old. I used to work at a garment factory, but when the company shut down, I lost my job and my plans for the future fell apart. Hoping to return to my childhood home, I discovered that my uncle had sold my family's house without my permission. With nowhere else to go, I was allowed to stay in an old, abandoned house at the edge of the village. In this first episode, I begin cleaning the neglected house, clearing the yard, making a temporary bed from bricks and an old wooden board, and searching for food before nightfall. Luckily, I meet a kind villager who gives me some cassava. As darkness falls, I prepare a simple meal and get ready to spend my first night alone in this unfamiliar place. I don't know what tomorrow will bring, or whether I will ever get my family home back. But I know I have to keep moving forward. This is the beginning of my journey to rebuild my life from nothing.
