Colossians 2:16 Bible Training | Christian Freedom in Christ
In this training, we study Colossians 2:16 and its message about freedom from religious judgment. Paul teaches believers not to let anyone condemn them over food, drink, religious festivals, new-moon celebrations, or Sabbath days.
We will also consider verse 17, which explains that these practices were a shadow pointing forward, while the true reality is found in Jesus Christ. This lesson will help you understand how to live with biblical conviction, avoid legalism, and keep Christ at the center of your faith.
In this teaching, you will learn:
• The meaning of Colossians 2:16–17
• What Paul means by “do not let anyone judge you”
• The difference between godly conviction and religious legalism
• Why Christ is greater than external religious rules
• How Christians can disagree with grace, truth, and love
Scripture focus: Colossians 2:16–17
