[1984] Akira Inoue & Unit 451°F - Windy Story (ウィンディー) Original Soundtrack || Full Album

Scans are by me from my own LP copy, fixed by anisonfan I have a lot of history with this album. In a good way, though! I discovered Akira Inoue's discography roughly 10 years ago while I was still in high school, having been introduced to him through his work on the 80s Lensman anime movie. As I dug a little deeper I wound up coming across a soundtrack album he did for a certain 80s Japanese/German racing movie which I may or may not have posted onto my channel long ago... 🤭 Anyways, there weren't any full uploads of the album anywhere online, so I grabbed a vinyl copy for myself. Unfortunately the LP was a little too clicky than what I preferred AND the surface noise was incredibly noisy on top of that... because of this, I never made any progress on editing my LP copy for years. Back in 2022 I heard that Universal Records JP was re-issuing the movie's theme songs on vinyl—I shrugged it off at the time because naturally it was the WHOLE soundtrack I wanted re-issued too. Well, guess what? Turns out the OST was actually part of that re-issuing plan and I didn't find out until years later LMAO!! Surprisingly, nobody had STILL ripped it & posted it publicly during the several years that the CD has been out, so naturally I had to get my own CD copy and put up my own rip. The music is pretty good, I like it. It's been a while since I last saw the movie, but if I remember correctly I believe this soundtrack release does actually contain all of the movie's BGM—no unreleased BGM from what I recall... but I could be wrong. The only complaint I have? The inclusion of drama dialogue & SFX from the movie and cross-fading that into the actual BGM itself. I was hoping for a release of the OST that omitted those, but I don't think that's happening any time soon :l Regardless, enjoy!!
