Ghost of Tsushima | After Komoda — Bandages, a Horse, and the Gates of Kaneda

After Komoda, the island does not grant a clean death. Jin wakes at a campthat still smells of smoke and medicine. The arrows are gone. The wrapping is Yuna’s work. His father’s katana is waiting in the wreckage of a house, and the moment he takes it the past opens: a courtyard, a bruise, Lord Shimura teaching a boy that a samurai masters the blade by mastering himself. Three horses were left at the stable when the clan rode to the beach. One of them becomes his. Then the road east — pampas, wet lacquer, the walls of Castle Kaneda — and Yuna arguing for the shadows while Jin chooses the front gate. This episode is the rest of the Prologue after the massacre: the shelter, the lesson, the naming of a horse, and the first, doomed walk on Kaneda. Cinematic playthrough.
