Fraxinus ornus (Manna Ash) bonsai yamadori tree collected from the wild in May 2021 — now getting its first repotting from the plastic collection pot into a training bonsai pot.
This session involved more than 50% reduction of the original root ball. Large structural roots were removed to allow the tree to fit into the first proper training container. No narration — the work speaks for itself.
Tree background:
• Species: Fraxinus ornus (Manna Ash)
• Collected: May 2021, wild yamadori
• Origin: European forest, collected by me
• Style approach: Naturalistic
This is part of a long-term yamadori development series.
