#fzerox #retrogaming #n64 @F-ZeroXercise #learn2drift Here's the next F-Zero X race on the old Nintendo 64 game system (while riding an exercise bike, of course). I went to bed last night thinking that today I would try to just blast the competition and see if I could get a few 6-second margins of victory. But this morning I woke to some reminders about the low-speed, high-acceleration drifting technique that had completely fallen off my radar. So, that gave me my direction with this Sunday morning race. I'm learning something new (it is that time of year), and so I will struggle. I'm figuring out the controls and looking for the high speeds to let me know that I'm on the right track (no pun intended). There were no positive indicators (yet), and even a surprising low high speed on Fire Field (I forgot I had boost power until the end of the race!). But I think this was a nice start and I'm looking forward to continuing on this path! Your feedback about mastering the drift is welcome and appreciated. Leave me some comments!
