The Quiet Moment Before the Reveal | A Finished House, Still Empty

The quiet moment before the reveal — a house finished, cleaned and still empty, walked room by room. Italian cabinetry and millwork by Pedini by Daruso, Miami. This is the only time you see the joinery on its own, before furniture and before anyone moves in. The island's waterfall is mitered at the corner so the veining runs around it instead of stopping at a butt joint — a detail that costs slab and labour and shows only at this stage. Reeded glass in dark frames on the wall cabinets, walnut carried floor to ceiling, and lighting set into the mirrors and shelves rather than hung in front of them. Kitchen, bar, primary bath and powder room, all drawn in one material language. Real installed work. Manufactured by Pedini in Lucrezia, Italy since 1957 and installed by our own team — we have never subcontracted it.
