272 km. Three days. Porto to Santiago de Compostela. This is the first chapter of my 2026 Camino de Santiago bikepacking journey, following the Portuguese Way north from Porto towards Santiago de Compostela. Starting in Porto on 29 August 2026, I headed north through Portugal and Galicia, following the Camino by gravel bike, staying in an albergue and bivvying along the way before finally reaching Santiago. The Portuguese Way took me 272 km, with a total riding time of 25 hours 58 minutes between 29–31 August. But Santiago wasn't the end of this journey. From there I would turn east, pick up the French Way, cross northern Spain and the Pyrenees, then continue through France towards the UK. In this episode: Porto and the start of the Camino Riding north through Portugal Caminha and the Spanish border Galicia Camino stamps and pilgrim stops Bikepacking and bivvying Santiago de Compostela This is Episode 1: The Portuguese Way. If you enjoy bikepacking, gravel riding, long-distance cycling and slightly unreasonable journeys across Europe, subscribe for the next part. #CaminoDeSantiago #Bikepacking #PortugueseWay #CaminoPortugues #Cycling #GravelBike #AdventureCycling RedShift Suspension System - Find Out More ( https://redshiftsports.avln.me/c/Ufyr... ) Join this channel and watch upcoming videos before anybody else!    / @bikepackingadventures   If you enjoy the channel and would like to show your support you can find me on: https://buymeacoffee.com/mraudax - Thank you!
