Jiugulou Street is a street located in the northern part of Xicheng District, Beijing.It has a history dating back to the Yuan Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, it was called "Yaowangmiao Street" and was later divided into two sections. It was officially named "Jiugulou Street" in 1965. In the Yuan Dynasty, due to its proximity to the terminal of the Grand Canal, it became an important place for cargo distribution, with merchants gathering and a prosperous market. Today, it retains the historical and cultural atmosphere of old Beijing, with many ancient buildings and traditional shops, showing the unique charm of the ancient capital.
