Fair Isle Knit Along Tutorial Part 5 (A): Starting the Underarm Steek

In this video we learn how to begin the underarm steek starting half way up the underarm gusset. I had to split this video which was originally filmed as one video into two parts since it was too long to post as one video on You Tube so I've marked them as "Part 5A" and "Part 5B." Video 5, parts A and B also includes information on how to manage yarn tension and the benefits of using stitch markers. In the next video in the series (Video 6) I will show what the completed underarm steeks look like in their checkerboard pattern and work on the next construction step in the sweater.
