How Do Bahá'ís Bury Their Dead?

Talk given by Mr. John Haukness on November 19, 2022. From the frigid North Dakota prairie, John Haukness is the son of a grocer, his grandfather was the first state descendent cited by the governor, and he was a trader with the Lakota. John is a Vietnam era veteran. He holds degrees from 5 universities, has been a social worker for 10 years, a public school teacher for 25 years, and a college instructor for 4 years. John served on two Bahá'í Local Spiritual Assemblies, a Bahá'í teaching committee in Houston, and volunteered for a period of service over 9 summers at Louhelen Bahá'í School. He has been a Bahá'í since 1979. John's love is Bahá'í Writings and world literature, and he considers himself a reader - no more, no less. The best experience of his life was pioneering in China from 2012 to 2015, where he was awarded the Pudong Library guest lecturer Achievement Award in 2013.
