I Had Way Too Many Art Supplies - So I Decluttered & Re-organized Everything (Marie Kondo-Inspired)

Hello everybody and welcome back to my channel! 💖 In my last video, I talked about why I’m challenging myself to not buy any new art supplies in 2026 - and I was honestly overwhelmed (in the best way) by how many of you related to that feeling of having too much, feeling guilty, and not knowing where to start. Thank you to everyone who committed to join the No-Buy and Use-Up Challenge 2026! 🤗 So in this video, I’m doing the next step: I declutter and reorganize all of my art supplies. 👩‍🎨 This is a long, slow, and very honest declutter. I take everything out, consider each item, make difficult decisions, and share all the tips, principles, and mindset shifts I’ve learned over the years - inspired mainly by Marie Kondo, but also by the SpaceMaker Method and other things I've learned and watched about this topic, such as the show Sort Your Life Out. 💡 This isn’t just about making things look pretty. It’s about: decluttering art supplies without regret or guilt avoiding over-decluttering and rebound buying organizing materials so they’re actually easy to use stopping the cycle of buying more containers and creating an art space that supports making, not overwhelm. If you’ve ever felt paralyzed by too much choice, attached to supplies you don’t really use, or stuck between wanting less and being afraid of letting go - I hope this video feels like company.
