Dexter Isn't That Smart. He's Just White - EP 3

This week: a rough week, getting out of bed anyway, three hot takes, and way too many thoughts about Dexter. I've been watching Dexter season 5 and I can't stop thinking about one thing — he gets away with everything because he's a white man who presents well. The show might be making that point on purpose. Or it might just be doing it without realising. Either way, I'm clocking it. No Dexter spoilers past season 5 in the comments please. SIRA TALKS is a podcast about thinking out loud. Strong opinions, honest conversations, no filter. New episodes every week. —— Follow SIRA TALKS:
