In this video I try on makeup I got in my most recent drugstore haul, and I only use drugstore makeup to do a full face. Can it look high end? Or will it look cheap? I'm a bit bummed that the loose powder (that was applied in the center of my face) did nothing for oil control, but it still looked fairly smooth even after 8 hours. • Areas were the concealer was applied looked very smooth, and honestly it was impressive! It looked a bit cakey in the corners of my nose, but that's pretty typical for me and it's the first area where my makeup starts to break down in general (my usual Danessa Myricks Balm Powder primer would've minimized this had I used it). • The blush, bronzer, and the highlighter faded a bit, but it still looked really good with no signs of patchiness. • The eyeshadow maintained its full saturation without smudging or transferring, yay! • The outer perimeter of the face where the powder foundation was applied looked the same as when I first applied it. Even though I was working up a mild sweat at some point, the powder stayed in place and looked really smooth! • Creasing under the eyes looked decent. I'll always have creasing there, there's just no way around that, but it never looked cakey or patchy. I think the concealer's formula helped with this more so than the loose powder.
