Buffet Infinity (2026) - Spoiler-Free Review
What if you watched a bunch of cheesy 90's local commercials long enough that they slowly started telling you a horror story? That's basically Buffet Infinity, a bizarre horror movie told entirely through fake commercials, news broadcasts, and public access television from a fictional Canadian town.
Buffet Infinity starts with terrible restaurant ads, pawn shops, car dealerships, lawyers, medications, and other painfully authentic local commercials before gradually revealing that something very strange is happening in Westridge. There's a mysterious cult, people going missing, cryptic advertisements about something feeding on the town, and a buffet that keeps expanding until it starts taking over everything.
In this review, I talk about the bizarre commercials, the Adult Swim Infomercials vibe, the increasingly ridiculous Buffet Infinity food, the mystery surrounding Westridge, and why this might be one of the most original horror concepts I've seen in years. I also explain why I think the movie ultimately overstays its welcome and why the ending left me a little unsure.
