Following up from my previous video where I tested the Bullseye fan duct back to back with standard and a ring vent, this time I am testing the Hero Me duct, as requested by one of my Patrons.
The Hero Me has the advantage of having 4010 and 5015 fan versions, and is quite a lot more compact with very neat cable management. Its disadvantage is the significant support material needed to print it, which means a lot of post processing.
My torture test fil is inspired by the All In One micro printer test. The main body is lifted up off the bed to allow a wide and difficult bridge. There are four gradually tilted arcs, from vertical to 80 degrees, pointing up, down, left and right. The reason to see if a fan that only blows from one side is at a disadvantage. The final feature is a central spire that is raised above the rest.
This is another worthwhile Ender 3 upgrade, but keep in mind the standard duct is pretty effective for the majority of prints.
